Song of the Day: Foo Fighters – “Resolve”

About the Selection: A lot of times the Foo Fighters write material that is heavily overlooked for its genuine substance. The song “Resolve” is rarely played live (sadly), but deserves a bit of recognition. In the shadows of hits like “My Hero“, “Everlong“, and “All My Life“, “Resolve” brings raw emotion to the table. Dave Grohl certainly has a knack for writing material that makes sense. This song in particular shows that the Foo Fighters are not just a band that write a couple of singles, and then filler songs. This song weighs in with the heavy hitters, no questions asked.
